If you are (or will be) -

• A first-time college student
• A high school graduate or GED completer
• Seeking a college degree or technical certificate

• Applied for admission
• Completed the placement assessment

Orientation on Campus

Chemeketa Salem offers group orientation. Chemeketa Polk, Woodburn, and Yamhill Valley offer individual orientation by appointment. The in-person orientation will guide you through the enrollment process to get started with classes successfully.

Schedule your in-person new student orientation below.

Orientation Online

If you're unable to participate in person, you may complete the orientation online. Select Start Orientation, then My Chemeketa. Log in with your Chemeketa username and password. Go to the Services tab, then Advising link, and scroll down to the New Student Orientation icon. If you choose the orientation online, you will need to schedule a separate advising appointment at your preferred Chemeketa location.
